Mithaniel Marr must DIE
Word up Front
Task Duration for each instance: 2H 38M
Lockout for each instance: 24H
Requirements: Level 86+
Even though level 86 is the minimum, for this, you really want to be level 100+, and depending on class:
It is strongly recommended to, as a tank, have at least 50K AC and around 400-500K HP before attempting this.
For Mage/Necro, T3+ geared, T3 epic pet, with summoned armor, and the level 100 heals for your pet.
For Melee, 100+ with at minimum 30k AC, 350k HP, even then it is hard.
Expect to do quite some healing in both cases.
After task 4, the "requirement" for these, are upped,
As in, you'll most definitely want/need to be T4.5 geared, with 60K+ AC and 500-600K HP
Here is a Youtube Video, thanks to, and created by Mexi, to get a visual idea of these missions.
In task 7, the "requirement" is again upped, in the need of both AC/HP for a tank, but also a good amount of dps.
Since the bosses in the last 4 tasks have a very high regen!
Task 1 : Overlord Mithaniel Marr must Die!!
Task Giver: An Honorable Protector in Barren
The zone consists of a total of 9 Honorable Protectors, and Overlord Mithaniel Marr.
Be careful as these all have long range social aggro.
Expect at least 3 to come upon going into the room.
They hit quite hard and fast, hence why the requirement for the above stats.
Once you have all of them dead, you can attempt Overlord Mithaniel Marr.
If you manage to kill him, your quest will complete and you will receive :
Upon his death, a Corrupted Knight <Daily Adventures - Stage 2> will spawn.
If you get his quest, you will be ported to the next stage, were you will have to kill Bertoxxulous.
Task 2 : Bertoxxulous must Die!!
This part is fairly straightforward.
Kill Overlord Bertoxxulous.
Once you manage to do so, you'll be rewarded with:
Upon his death, an Ice Golem <Daily Adventures - Stage 3> will spawn.
If you get his quest, you will be ported to the next stage, were you will have to kill Kerafyrm.
Task 3 : Kerafyrm must Die!!
This part again is also fairly straightforward.
Kill Overlord Kerafyrm.
Don't be fooled by that he cons yellow (at 101), he has more hp and hits alot harder then his red predecessors.
Once you manage to do so, you will be rewarded with:
Upon his death, A Rogue Panther <Daily Adventures - Stage 4> will spawn.
If you get his quest, you will be ported to the next stage, were you will have to kill Overlord Porthio the Second Born
Task 4: Overlord Porthio must DIE!!
In this stage, you will encounter Overlord Porthio, and 6 of his Guardians.
These come in pairs of 3 upon pulled.
Don't be fooled by their /consider color (even at 101), they have nearly twice the amount of HP that the Protectors in task 1 have.
They don't hit hard at all, you can even fight them together with Porthio.
Porthio himself hits less hard and less frequent then Kerafyrm.
Once you manage to kill him, you will be rewarded with:
Upon his death, A Citizen of Seru <Daily Adventures - Stage 5> will spawn.
If you get his quest, you will be ported to the next stage, where you will have to kill Overlord Inquisitor Seru.
Task 5 - Overlord Inquisitor Seru must DIE!!
In this task, you will encounter Overlord Inquisitor Seru
Upon engaging him, more and more Storms of Seru will spawn and rush across the room.
These do not harm you.
Seru is seriously no joke, he flurry's (all together for over 200K damage), and does this quite rapidly.
Once you manage to kill him, you will be rewarded with:
Upon his death, An Arena Guard <Daily Adventures - Stage 6> will spawn.
If you get his quest, you will be ported to the next stage, where you will have to kill, the not-to-be-underestimated You.
Task 6 - YOU must Die!!
This one is by far the smallest, but quite hard!
It hits for 150k easy...
You will find yourself in the Arena.
In the center is a human male named You
He used to transform into the first one that aggro'd, but since that caused several issues, this was taken out.
Once you manage to kill it, you will again be rewarded with:
Upon his death, A Temple Guardian (Daily Adventures - Stage 7) will spawn.
If you get his quest, you will be ported to the next stage, where you will have to kill Xegony the Queen of Air.
Task 7 - Xegony must Die!!
In this task, you will encounter Xegony the Queen of Air.
Since this mob (and the next 3 tasks as well) have been recently added, they are a bit different as well.
Xegony has, like every other mob after each stage, more HP, and hits harder.
But in this case, she also regens A LOT harder then any of the previous mobs.
Which means, even though you would be able to tank it fine, you still require a lot of dps,
simply because you cannot "burn" through it without it (like you perhaps still could with the previous mobs).
Once you manage to kill it, you will again be rewarded with:
Upon her death, a Nest Dweller (Daily Adventures - Stage 8) will spawn.
If you get his quest, you will be ported to the next stage, where you will have to kill Vishimtar the Fallen.
Task 8 - Vishimtar must Die!!
In this task, you will encounter Vishimtar the Fallen.
He has two very nasty DoTs.
It is basically an enhanced version of the Shadowknight's snare.
It lasts for 32 seconds upon impact, and gets refreshed every 20 seconds.
Upon this refresh, a second, almost similar dot will land as well, these can not be cured.
Alas you can not get far enough out of range for it not to hit.
He has a bit more HP of Xegony, and regens just as hard, which means you need as much, if not more DPS to get him to die!
A healer might not yet be required for this encounter, but a form of healing is most definitely a good choice.
Once you manage to kill it, you will again be rewarded with:
Upon it's death, A Ghostly Resident (Daily Adventures - Stage 9) will spawn.
If you get her quest, you will be ported to the next stage, where you will have to kill Mayong Mistmoore.
Task 9 - Mayong must Die!!
In this task, you will encounter Mayong Mistmoore.
Luckily he has no DoTs like Vishimtar, but he does have more hitpoints.
He does quads more then the rest of the previous bosses.
To give an example, he hits for around 140-150k with a 100K AC tank!
Once you manage to kill it, you will again be rewarded with:
Upon it's death, A Clockwork Cleaner (Daily Adventures - Stage 10) will spawn.
If you get it's quest, you will be ported to the next stage, where you will have to kill Meldrath the Malignant.
Task 10 - Meldrath must Die!!
In this task, you will encounter Meldrath the Malignant.
He is the sneakiest of them all, hiding inside a machine!
Meldrath again, has a little more HP then the previous mobs, and also regens even faster.
Besides that, he randomly casts 3 AE DoT's, that hit quite hard, and have side effects such as mana and endurance drain.
This is the only stage, where you will absolutely require a healer to be present.
Even then, this is more challenging then it seems, since he regens faster, you again need more dps then in the previous missions
Luckily, all the DoT's he casts, can be cured, Cleric, Shaman, and Druid have these cures, and are a absolute must to have for this encounter!
When you do manage to kill him, you will again be rewarded with:
Upon it's death, a Fallen Citizen (Daily Adventures - Stage 11) will spawn.
If you get her quest, you will be ported to the next area, where you will have to kill Guardian of the Seal.
Task 11 - Guardian of the Seal must DIE!!
In this task, you will encounter Guardian of the Seal
He is a big black statue, that looks like Terror, from Plane of Hate.
He again in turn, has also higher regen then any of the previous bosses.
During fight, he spawns 5 a fallen citizen adds, who can hit surprisingly hard.
Not so much high damage per hit, but lots of hits really fast.
So they have to die REAL fast. (or grab aggro with an AE of some sort on the tank).
He does this about 3-4 times, I honestly have not been able to figure out if there is a certain trigger or not to the amount of spawns.
When you do manage to kill him, you will again be rewarded with:
Upon it's death, a Fallen Citizen (Daily Adventures - Stage 12) will spawn.
If you get her quest, you will be ported to the next area, where you will have to kill Hrulcor.
Task 12 - Hulcror Must Die!!
In this task you will encounter Hulcror.
It is a massive, mean looking bastard.
Overall he is actually pretty similar to the guardian, but with a real tiny bit more regen, and no adds.
Hittingwise it hits the same, but he also does wild rampage, but not towards the tank.
He also casts a debuff called Plague of Hulcror.
This debuff Decreases your max hp, hp by 300k, an unknown amount per tick, and increase disease counter.
This DoT lasts for 7 minutes in total, and can only be cured by doing about 30+ cure casts.
Furthermore he is a Tank 'n Spank.
When you do manage to kill him, you will be rewarded with:
Upon it's death, a Cold Shade (Daily Adventures - Stage 13) will spawn.
If you get it's quest, you will be ported to the next area, where you will have to kill Lord Doljonijiarnimorinar
Task 13 - Lord Doljonijiarnimorinar Must Die!!
In this task, you will encounter Lord Doljonijiarnimorinar, A.K.A Lord Bob, A.K.A Lord Whatshisname.
He himself is fairly easy, no special tricks, just a tank and spank.
His protector shades though are quite the nuisance.
It is strongly recommended to use a (Bard / Cleric / Enchanter) pacify on them to single pull Lord Bob back a ways.
The best spot to fight him is around where you zoned in, since here you have the most room to maneuver.
When you do manage to kill him, you will be rewarded with:
Upon it's death, a Gelidran Guard (Daily Adventures - Stage 14) will spawn.
If you get it's quest, you will be ported to the next area, where you will have to kill Feratha
Task 14 - Feratha Must Die!!
In this task, you will encounter Feratha.
This mob is, BY FAR, thé most annoying one, and hardest to defeat of all medium missions.
It has 5 guardians (Commanders), that need to be pacified so you can single pull Feratha.
These hit harder and more often then Feratha does, which also is not the problem if you can handle it,
but because of the following it is strongly recommended.
Feratha hits less hard then its commanders, but it casts a Feratha Tentacle on whoever it has agro on.
This is UNRESISTABLE, which causes you to be stunned for 6 seconds, and most likely (slowly) spinning around while being stunned.
Often enough, you will also get summoned, because the spell includes a shadow step effect, which means you get ported away a few feet.
Since it thinks you are too far away then, it will summon you back.
Those few precious seconds of being stunned are enough to loose your agro,
the chances are pretty likely that it soon will turn on your groupmembers or pets that are attacking.
There is no avoiding, blocking or resisting this stun and shadowstep effect.
Strategies used to defeat this guy, are using double tanks, or killing through the floor (pulling him upwards).
The problem with the second strategy though, is that you need pets to do this,
but the biggest issue is that if and when it dies, it's corpse, AND the next stage NPC, are under the floor as well, and cannot be reached.
Qua difficulty, this mob should be the last in the entire series.
When you do manage to kill him, you will be rewarded with:
Upon it's death, a Discordling Guard (Daily Adventures - Stage 15) will spawn.
If you get it's quest, you will be ported to the final area, where you will have to kill Chailak
Task 15 - Chailak Must Die!!
In this task you will encounter Chailak.
This guy is reasonably easy. He hits less hard then Feratha does, and casts Chailak Venom a 110,000 poison dot that lasts 50 minutes..
He also comes with 5 guardians, that can be pacified, just like in the previous encounter.
You can also pull them all together, but the same goes as with the previous encounter,
these hit harder and faster then the boss itself does, and with 6 at once, it can stack up in getting hit hard.
All in all this guy should be in the previous mission, and Feratha in his place, since the difficulty is quite different.
When you do manage to kill him, you will be rewarded with:
Task 16 - King Gelaqua Must Die!!
- need screenshot*
In this task you will encounter 6 Princes and then King Gelaqua.
You'd better disband your raid and group up. Use your shaman or cleric to cure the poison. It will take a while it's got like 350 counters. There's not much you can do for the bots who aren't in your cleric or shaman's group though. They'll just have to deal. Hopefully you've got the Cleric 5.0 epic "Prelate's Power Rk II" on them which will keep them from dying at least.
The Princes are pacifiable. Pull them one at a time. Then move onto King Gelaqua.
Umm don't forget to re-pacify after every Prince kill or you will pull all the Princes and the King on that side.
Some weird portal thingies spawn when you're engaging the King. I have no idea what they're for or if they hurt, but they were gone when he was dead so either my bots killed them or they despawned.
When you do manage to kill them, you will be rewarded with:
5,000,000 Guk Points
A Dimensional Best Defector will spawn. Hail him once all of your raid is back in the zone to progress. Since apparently you're still not done.
Task 17 - Grunkunk the Beast Must Die!!
- need screenshot*
Welcome to the final stage! I think?
In this task you will encounter Grunkunk the Beast.
The quest text reads: You just want to kill yourself now for some reason, so go do that in the Cooling Chambers!
He casts a huge AoE knockback and dispell. Also it nukes for 350,000. It's called "Otherworldly Explosion" and my ranger apparently resisted it once. My shaman somehow survived. I have no idea how. I didn't put a dent in Grunkunk's HP. Well he's not melee or spell immune at least. His adds HAVE to die, or they will heal him to full. They spawn at 4 points all around him.
Good luck. This seems like late T6 difficulty.
If for some reason you manage to kill him, you will be rewarded with:
Diamond Coated Ruby Infused Guk Ore 50,000,000 Guk Points
I imagine something will spawn for you to hail.
This was the end of the entire series of Medium Daily Adventures!
Congratulations for finishing it, you can do it all again in 24 Hours!
